Following the success of Downey Designer Homes’ inaugural Pink Ribbon Breakfast Fundraiser in 2024, we were proud to bring the event back this year, hosting another successful morning on 21 May. Guests enjoyed an inspiring and informative breakfast, with presentations from Lotta Bryant of Breast Cancer Research New Zealand and Ashley Makufeni, Charge Mammographer at I-MED Radiology. Both speakers shared valuable insights and helped raise awareness about the importance of breast cancer research and early detection.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our generous contractors and suppliers, whose donations have contributed to an incredible raffle prize pool. Thanks to the continued support of our community, we are aiming to raise more than $5,000 for Breast Cancer NZ — matching our fantastic result from two years ago. Raffle tickets are still available and will remain on sale until the draw on Friday 29 May.
