Our first meeting is an opportunity to get to know you and discover what initial ideas you have for your new home project. We want to understand the style of living that is important to you and your family.
We’ll chat about the style of house you see yourself in and where it will be located. If you have a section, we will be happy to arrange a site visit. If you do not have piece of land we can help you source one. The first meeting is also an opportunity for you to discover what we can do for you and what makes Downey Designer Homes difference from other building companies.
Whether you have a very firm idea of the house you want, or you’re still in the concept stage, we will help you navigate through the design process. Our in-house architectural designer can translate your concept into a house plan or you may choose to use one of our unique home designs. Or a combination of both!
Building a home requires a significant investment and sticking to the budget is what our clients tell us is most important to them. Whether it is your first building project or you have built before, we will work with you to create a home that meets your budget expectations.
With the experience we’ve gained over the past 25 years, we know the building business and how to avoid the pitfalls and curve balls that may arise.
Once the contracts are signed and the working drawings, site plans and specifications are signed off, we’ll take care of the rest including council consents, project management and construction, right through until you move into your beautiful new home and beyond. We aim to make the process as seamless and enjoyable for you as possible. You will be updated weekly throughout the construction phase of your project.
